In fact, that is exactly what the program was called: A Flight to the North Pole. Local chapters of United Way - Big Brothers and Big Sisters were also involved in this event. They just wanted to do something very special and nice for some kids over the holidays. What they did was taxi the plane for half an hour on the field and employees pretended they were flying to the North Pole.
