Living in Central Portugal

Coimbra City includes a selection of large malls with cinema's, bowling and vast food halls. It is a historic University City, and host to the Universidade de Coimbra. The University was founded in 1290. Also the ancient buildings of this wonderful old city are guaranteed to charm and will remain with you for years too. Less than 10 miles away from Coimbra you will find the Roman ruins of Conimbriga,still in the process of being carefully uncovered whilst other parts are open for visitors.
